FAQs

The Basics

What is SwingFly?

SwingFly is a patent-pending, dual-club movement system designed specifically for golfers. Its compact 17-inch design allows you to warm up and train without needing the space required to swing a full-length golf club. Use SwingFly for our Signature 5-Minute Warm-Up before you play or explore additional exercises designed to support mobility, stability, strength, balance, and better movement for golf.

Why does SwingFly use two clubs?

SwingFly was designed as a two-club system so both sides of your body can work together through the movements. The dual-club design allows you to perform a wider range of mobility, rotation, stability, strength, and warm-up movements than you could with a traditional weighted golf club.

Who is SwingFly for?

SwingFly is designed for golfers who want a simple way to get their body moving before they play. Whether you're focused on a better pre-round warm-up, improved mobility, or adding golf-specific movement into your routine, SwingFly can be adapted to different ability and fitness levels.

What comes with my SwingFly?

Each SwingFly set includes:

  • Two SwingFly clubs
  • SwingFly carrying bag
  • Signature 5-Minute Warm-Up instructions
  • Access to SwingFly exercise and instructional videos

Choosing Your Weight

What's the difference between the 480g and 750g models?

Both models use the same SwingFly movements but provide different levels of resistance.

  • 480g — lighter resistance for smooth, controlled movement. A great choice for many women, seniors, juniors, golfers new to weighted movement, and anyone primarily focused on mobility and warm-up.
  • 750g — heavier resistance and greater loading. A great choice for stronger or more athletic golfers and those looking to incorporate more resistance into their warm-up and training.

Your ideal weight depends more on your strength, mobility, training experience, and ability to comfortably control the clubs than your golf handicap.

Do I need both the 480g and 750g models?

No. Either model can be used on its own. Having both gives you more flexibility. Use the 480g when you want lighter resistance and mobility-focused movement, and the 750g when you want additional loading and a greater strength challenge.

Can juniors use SwingFly?

Yes, with an appropriate resistance level and proper supervision. For many younger golfers, the lighter 480g model will be the better starting point. Weight selection should be based on the golfer's size, strength, experience, and ability to comfortably control the clubs.

Using SwingFly

How do I use SwingFly before a round?

Follow our Signature 5-Minute Warm-Up before you play. If you're hitting balls before your round, use SwingFly before your range warm-up. If you're heading straight to the first tee, complete the routine shortly before you play.

Why is the warm-up only 5 minutes?

Because a warm-up only works if you actually do it. Five minutes makes SwingFly easy to build into your pre-round routine, even when you're short on time. When you have more time, you can explore additional exercises and longer SwingFly training sessions.

How do I know I'm using SwingFly correctly?

Follow the movement demonstrations in the SwingFly video library and focus on smooth, controlled movement rather than forcing additional range or speed. Start with a comfortable range of motion and build from there. The movements should feel controlled and should not cause pain.

Can I use SwingFly every day?

Yes. SwingFly can be used regularly as part of your golf and movement routine. Use the Signature 5-Minute Warm-Up before you play or incorporate additional SwingFly exercises into your training throughout the week. The resistance and length of your session should always be appropriate for your ability and how your body feels.

How much space do I need to use SwingFly?

SwingFly's compact 17-inch design means you don't need enough room to swing a full-length golf club. That makes it easy to use at home, in the gym, at the course, or while traveling. Always make sure you have clear space around you before beginning an exercise.

Can I travel with SwingFly?

Yes. SwingFly's compact design and carrying bag make it easy to take to the course, gym, office, or on golf trips.

Can I hit golf balls with SwingFly?

No. SwingFly is a warm-up and movement training tool and is not designed to strike golf balls, the ground, or other objects.

Is SwingFly right- or left-handed?

SwingFly can be used by both right- and left-handed golfers. Because SwingFly is a dual-club movement system rather than a traditional golf club, the exercises train movement throughout the body rather than one specific swing direction.

Results, Safety & Care

How is SwingFly different from a weighted golf club or speed trainer?

SwingFly is not designed simply for making weighted golf swings. Its compact, dual-club design allows you to perform golf-specific mobility, strength, stability, rotation, and warm-up movements that would be difficult to perform with a traditional full-length weighted club. SwingFly is designed first to prepare and train your body to move better for golf.

Will SwingFly improve my golf swing or increase swing speed?

SwingFly does not teach swing mechanics and is not an overspeed trainer. Instead, it is designed to support physical qualities that can contribute to a more athletic golf swing, including mobility, rotation, balance, stability, strength, and body awareness.

How soon will I notice a difference?

Many golfers may notice that they feel looser and more prepared to move after completing a SwingFly warm-up. Longer-term changes in mobility, strength, stability, and movement will vary from person to person and depend on factors including consistency and individual ability.

Can I use SwingFly if I have an injury or physical limitation?

If you have an existing injury, medical condition, or are unsure whether an exercise is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using SwingFly. Never force a movement beyond your comfortable range of motion and stop any exercise that causes pain.

How should I care for my SwingFly?

Keep your SwingFly clubs clean and dry and store them safely when they are not in use. Most scuff marks will wipe off with a damp cloth. Inspect the clubs periodically for signs of damage and discontinue use if any part of the product appears damaged or compromised.
